Daisetsu Mori no Garden (Daisetsu Forest Garden) is set within a rich forest on rolling hills that offer sweeping, close‑up views of the majestic Daisetsuzan mountains. The garden comprises three distinct areas: the “Forest Flower Garden,” where about 900 vividly colored plant species bloom; the “Forest Guesthouse,” a tranquil retreat surrounded by native trees and delicate alpine wildflowers; and the “Play Forest,” featuring forest xylophones and other nature‑play elements.
On the grounds you’ll also find the garden restaurant and villas at “Fratello di Mikuni”, where guests can enjoy elegant dining and overnight stays with panoramic views of the Daisetsuzan range. For a quick break, stop by “Ryokkyu Sabo” for gelato and light snacks. The Garden Shop offers a charming selection of gifts and goods. The park is lively not only in summer but also in winter, when visitors can take part in snow activities.
