Roadside Station Touma
A rest spot where you can meet the king of watermelons, "Densuke Suika", overlooking the Daisetsu mountain range.
It is a roadside station located along National Route 39, at the entrance to the city of Toma Town.
There is a product hall named after the specialty black watermelon “Densuke Suika”, “Densuke’s House”.
In the summer, many tourists visit for the sale of Densuke watermelon (seasonal) and the popular “watermelon soft”.
The museum has a wide variety of souvenirs that can only be purchased here, such as processed local agricultural products and limited edition sake “Tatsunoizumi” aged in the Toma Limestone Cave.
