Palette Hills
Overlooking Mt. Daisetsu. A hill and forest alive with seasonal colors
This is a relaxing forest imbued with the wish to be "a hill that creates the changing nature of the four seasons, just as various colors are created on a palette." The observation deck offers sweeping views of the majestic Daisetsuzan mountain range.
In particular, around May, the hill is colored with cherry blossoms in full bloom, attracting large crowds for events such as the "Sakura Festa" and the "Night Sakura Light-up."
Facilities such as a park golf course and a campground are also available. Surrounded by nature where wild rabbits roam and skylarks sing, it serves as "Furusato-no-Mori"—a place where people of all ages can enjoy strolling, hands-on learning, and stargazing.
