About 40 minutes by car from Asahikawa City. Pippu Ski Resort, which spreads out in a spectacular view overlooking the Daisetsuzan mountain range, is a ski resort with high-quality snow and a variety of courses.
It has a total of 9 courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, and the longest running distance is about 2,200 meters. From gentle family slopes to full-fledged steep slopes, it caters to skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the Kamikawa Basin, and on a clear day, the majestic appearance of the Daisetsuzan Mountains spreads out. The snow quality is smooth powder snow, and it is popular among locals as a “hidden ski resort in northern Hokkaido”.
At the center house “Skip” in the center of the slopes, there is a wide variety of warm menus that can be enjoyed between skiing, such as the popular “Karaage Bowl” and “Fried Taiyaki”. In addition, the restaurant “Yukibanya” is also popular for its “Nijimasu Oyakodon” made with Hifu Town’s specialty, Nijimasu.
