Nestled in the countryside, about 13 minutes by car from Asahiyama Zoo, “old farm” is a café-restaurant opened in 2023 by Masaaki Kaneko, the representative of Kaneko Coffee in Kamifurano-cho, after renovating a building that used to be an agricultural cooperative. The space, which utilizes buildings over 60 years old and finished with old materials and antiques, is inspired by an old farm full of exotic atmosphere. The interior of the store has an old American atmosphere, and there are also antique miscellaneous goods, making it a great place to enjoy not only as a café but also as a small shop.

The most popular is the roast pork of Shiretoko pork, which is slowly heated at a low temperature for one and a half hours. It is soft enough to melt in your mouth. The hamburger steak is thick, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The fried shrimp curry is authentic with a rich and spiced flavor. The appearance boldly served on a wooden plate is also photogenic. The tuna cheese baguette, baked using Hokkaido wheat at the Kamifurano store, is also popular, and the garlic and rich cheese flavors are appetizing.

There is also a wide selection of home-roasted coffee and handmade cakes, so you can spend a relaxing time. There is also a dog space where you can relax with your dog, and pets are allowed.
