Bicycle Rental Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Use are the same as those of Daisetsu Kamui Mintara DMO (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”). Activity Center Asahikawa Airport (hereinafter referred to as the “Facility”). It stipulates the rental of bicycles. Matters not stipulated in these Terms of Use shall be subject to laws and regulations or general customs.

■Eligibility
Rental bicycles can only be used by customers who meet all of the following criteria:
1. Those who can abide by the terms and conditions of the facility and other traffic rules.
2. Those who own a mobile phone that can be contacted by the facility.
3. Those who carry an ID card on the day of rental and can present it to the staff of the facility.
4. Those who are not under the influence of alcohol.
5. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian or a person over the age of 18 (hereinafter referred to as the “guardian”) during the loan period. Those who can be accompanied by a person who can be accompanied by a person who is not a good friend
Parents and guardians shall be jointly and severally responsible under these Terms.
6. Those who otherwise judge that the facility is suitable for use.

■Bicycle rental hours and usage fees
・9:00~16:30 (Rental only on the day)
・Mountain bike with electric assistance 4,000 yen per day (tax included)
・Guarantee fee of 3,000 yen per vehicle (refund will be made when the bicycle is returned.) ）

■Reservations
Customers can make advance reservations on the web. (Until 12 o’clock two days before the desired rental date)
Even without a reservation, it is possible to rent on the day depending on the rental situation. However, priority will be given to customers who have made reservations in advance.
If you are likely to be late for your reservation on the day of your rental, please contact the facility by phone before your reservation time.

■About Cancellation
If you cancel your reservation due to your convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged.
・Up to 4~7 days before the date of use: 30% of the usage fee
・2~3 days before the date of use: 40% of the usage fee
・The day before the day of use: 50% of the usage fee
・On the day of use: 100% of the usage fee
If one hour has passed since the reservation time without prior notice, it will be automatically canceled as a no-notice cancellation and 100% of the usage fee will be charged. *The number of days is calculated including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

■About refund processing
If a cancellation fee is incurred due to the cancellation policy, the amount minus the cancellation fee will be refunded.
Refunds will be made through the credit card used.
・Refund processing date: Refunds will be processed within 5 business days from the date of cancellation.
・Refund completion date: Depends on your credit card company. Please note that it may take about 1~2 months from the date of refund processing.

■Disclaimer
If any of the following events apply, no cancellation fee will be charged.
・Cancellation due to bad weather: In case of bad weather that poses a danger to the riding of the rental bicycle.
・Transportation impact: If there is a significant delay or cancellation of the flight on the day of use.

■About reservation changes
Changes cannot be made after the reservation has been made.
If you wish to make a change, please cancel your current reservation and make a new reservation.
Please note that in this case, cancellation regulations will also apply and a prescribed cancellation fee may be charged.
Please note that depending on availability, you may not be able to make a reservation again.

■Application Procedure
The procedure for applying for use is as follows.
1. Fill out the rental application form.
2. Give your ID to the staff of the facility. Please note that the staff of this facility will check your ID and take a copy or photo.
(ID copies will be discarded or deleted after the rental item is returned.) ）
3. We will settle the rental fee. The loan fee shall be settled in advance as determined separately and shall be settled in advance in principle.
4. The staff of this facility will explain how to handle the rental items and the insurance they purchase. We will tailor the rental to your needs and tailor it to you.
5. The customer and the staff of the facility will work together to confirm that the rental item is not defective.
6. The staff of this facility will hand over the rental items to the customer.

■Return of rental items
Customers must return the rental item by the scheduled return time. Please return the rental item in the same condition as when you rented it.
If there is any abnormality or malfunction, please inform the staff of the facility immediately.

■Establishment of a lease contract
A rental contract for rental items is established when the facility receives the rental fee and delivers the rental item to the customer.
In the event that the rental item reserved by the customer cannot be rented due to accidental theft or other reasons not attributable to the facility or the operator,
The Facility may cancel the Rental Agreement.

■Invalidation of application
If the Guest falls under any of the following items during the Rental Period, the Facility may invalidate the Customer’s application and immediately request the return of the Rental Item without any notice. In this case, the rental fee received by the facility will not be refunded.
1. When the User acts in violation of these Terms of Use.
2. When an accident occurs due to reasons attributable to the customer.
3. When the user is no longer eligible for use.

■The loan period exceeds
If you are likely to miss the expected return time, please contact the property immediately. If you return the property beyond the loan period without prior notice, we will not refund the guarantee fee you have received. If the next customer cannot use the product due to the delay in returning the product and causes damage to a third party, the Company shall compensate for the damage.
If there is no return from the customer after the scheduled return time, we may confirm by phone. Please note that the closing time of this facility is 16:30. If you do not return the item within business hours, the guarantee fee will not be refunded.

■About baggage storage
Guests who request a bicycle rental can leave their luggage at the property during the rental period. Please let us know when you apply for use. Please do not put valuables or fragile items in your checked baggage. Even if there is any damage such as theft, this facility is not responsible for any damage. If there is a suspicion that the stored items fall under dangerous goods or items that may deface the storage area during storage, the staff of the facility may open the luggage without the customer’s permission and dispose of it appropriately.

■Breakdown/Damage
If the rental item breaks down or is damaged, please stop using it immediately and contact the property.
If the rental item breaks down or is damaged due to reasons attributable to the customer, the customer may be charged for damages.

■Theft and loss
If your rental item is stolen or lost, please contact the property immediately.
If the rental item is stolen or lost due to reasons attributable to the customer, the customer may be charged for damages.
If you lose your key, the guarantee fee will not be refunded.

■Accident
If you have an accident during the rental period, please contact the facility immediately.
If necessary, please take the measures prescribed by law, such as contacting the police.
If the Facility or a third party is damaged due to reasons attributable to the Customer, the Customer shall compensate for the damage.
Injuries and other injuries when using rental bicycles will be compensated within the scope of coverage covered by the insurance covered by this facility.

“Liability compensation” ・Death and injury (all personal accidents) Limit 100 million yen
If it is necessary to negotiate a settlement regarding an accident, you will be responsible for it. The facility is not responsible for any accidents.
Even if the bicycle breaks down and causes damage to the customer or a third party, the facility will not be responsible for any damage.

■Prohibited Acts
1. During the rental period, the customer must not allow anyone other than the user who filled out the rental application form to use the rental bicycle.
2. Reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, or other violations of traffic rules.
3. Use in dangerous places, inappropriate places or methods.
4. Acts that may cause pedestrians to obstruct traffic.
5. Modifying and changing the structure, equipment, etc. of the Rental Product.
6. Other acts that violate laws and regulations.

■Termination due to force majeure
During the rental period, if the Rental Product becomes unusable due to natural disasters or other force majeure events not attributable to either the Facility or the Customer, the Rental Agreement shall be terminated. In this case, the customer shall promptly notify the Facility and agree in advance that the rental fee will not be refunded.

■Xinyi Law
In the event of any doubt about the contents of these Terms of Use or any matter not described in these Terms of Use, the Customer and the Facility shall discuss in good faith and strive to resolve the issue.

■Court of Consensual Jurisdiction
In the event of any dispute regarding your rights and obligations under these Terms, you agree to have a district court with jurisdiction over the Facility.

■Use of personal information
Regarding the use of this service, the facility will strive to appropriately protect personal information obtained by this facility, and will not use it for purposes other than necessary for the operation of bicycle rental.
Information such as location information and driving routes by GPS installed in rental bicycles may be used for the purpose of considering future bicycle rental business after making it impossible to identify individuals as statistical information.
