Kamikawa Daisetsu Sake Brewery is located in Japan’s largest Daisetsuzan National Park and was established in 2017. Using sake rice and koji from Hokkaido, as well as natural water collected at the foot of the Daisetsuzan Mountains, with the cooperation of local volunteers, the sake is brewed using traditional handmade methods to brew Japan sake with a rich flavor and mellow flavor. The ingredients determine the deliciousness of Japan sake. The owner of this brewery neglected logistics and costs in order to seek the best quality of rice and water for sake brewing, and moved the brewery company, which was originally located in Mie Prefecture, to Kamikawa, 1,500 kilometers away. Here, you can not only purchase local sake, but also tour the brewery, but for hygiene reasons, you can only visit from the outdoor viewing window. If there is a lot of snow, it may not be open.
