It was founded in the 30th year of the Meiji era and has been worshipped as a “Kagura Shrine”. After that, in the 7th year of Taisho, it was approved to be founded as “Murasha Higashi Kagura Shrine”, and it is a shrine with a history that continues to this day.
It is conveniently located about 10 minutes by car from Asahikawa Airport and welcomes worshippers gently.
A tunnel lined with colorful windmills is set up in the precincts, and the way they sway in the wind is soothing to visitors.
This windmill is gaining popularity as a colorful space that can be enjoyed all year round.
Especially during the deep autumn months, the contrast between the windmills and the red and yellow leaves creates a stunning scene.
On a sunny day, the competition against the blue sky is also wonderful, making it a great spot for photography.
In addition, the red stamps of Higashi Kagura Shrine have a simple yet beautiful design, and the red stamps with the motif of windmills are also gaining popularity.
