Higashikawa Town Culture Gallery
A base for art from the town of photography
The Higashikawa Town Cultural Gallery plays a central role in the cultural dissemination of Higashikawa Town, which was declared a “Town of Photography” in 1985. It has become a base for active cultural exchange by collecting and exhibiting a wide range of excellent works of art from Japan and abroad, including sculptures, paintings, and literature, as well as photographs. In addition to holding a variety of special exhibitions throughout the year, including exhibitions of works by the winning artists of the “Higashikawa Prize in the Town of Photography”, it also actively accepts exhibitions by the general public, and is widely used as a place for the townspeople to present their creations.
Please enjoy a quiet and calm space where you can encounter beautiful works.
