Kamui Ski Links is about a 30‑minute drive from central Asahikawa and roughly 90 minutes from Sapporo via the Hokkaido Expressway. The resort’s superb powder is created by the cold air from the Daisetsuzan Range, and it offers sweeping panoramic views over the Ishikari Plain.
The resort features a 4 km long run, a variety of ungroomed powder zones, and family‑friendly areas, providing terrain to satisfy beginners through advanced skiers and snowboarders. Rentals are well stocked with the latest models, making it easy to enjoy the slopes without bringing your own gear.
On the mountain you can dine at Trattoria Pizzeria Monte 751, a mountaintop restaurant serving authentic Italian fare that far exceeds typical slope food. The center house restaurant is also famous for its hearty katsu curry (Japanese Curry with Pork Cutlet).
In autumn, Kamui Ski Links hosts the Kamui Gondola Ride for nine days, allowing visitors to trek from the gondola summit station to the 799 m peak of Mount Kamui. From the observation deck at the summit you can enjoy a magnificent 360° panorama of Asahikawa City, the Daisetsuzan Range, and the Ishikari Plain.
