Whitebeard Falls
A waterfall that represents Biei! One of the tourist attractions in Shirokane Onsen town
Groundwater seeping out from the rocks flows down from a height of about 30 meters, and the Biei River, commonly known as the “Blue River,” splashes. It got its name because its powerful appearance looks like a white beard. Its expression, which changes with the four seasons, is a must-see.
In winter, the contrast between the waterfall and the white snow and rock surface stands out even more, making the scenery even more magical when combined with the frost and ice of the illuminated trees.
