This day‑use bathing facility is located in Sounkyo Onsen Town. It is fed by a low‑mineral (hypotonic), mildly alkaline, high‑temperature hot spring and features two large indoor baths, a third‑floor open‑air bath overlooking the valley, a sauna, and a cold plunge. The open‑air bath with its views of the gorge is highly recommended. The spacious public baths are perfect for relieving tired muscles after hiking or skiing, and the facility’s convenient drop‑in access makes it easy to stop by. Loved by both visitors and local residents, it serves as a relaxing community space.
