Asahikawa Design Center

Asahikawa Design Center is a showroom and information hub that brings together a wide range of products from Asahikawa—one of Japan’s foremost woodworking regions—including furniture, crafts and textiles. Visitors can compare each maker’s latest pieces and classic models side by side, and experience materials, finishes and seating comfort firsthand. The gallery space hosts curated exhibitions, pop‑ups and design talks.

At the hands‑on workshop “ADC Lab” you can try simple woodworking projects (for example, wooden coasters or spoons), allowing you to appreciate makers’ skills and the appeal of natural materials with your own hands. Favorite items can be purchased on the spot or ordered after consultation.
