Located within Asahikawa City yet tucked away from the bustle of the town, "Senshoen" is a historic Japanese ryokan. Our meticulously manicured Japanese garden, traditional Sukiya-style architecture, and guest rooms filled with the gentle scent of tatami mats will softly soothe the fatigue of your travels. For dinner, you can take your time savoring a multi-course Kaiseki meal made with seasonal treasures from both land and sea. Experiencing a relaxing soak in our spacious public baths, spending a quiet moment in the lounge overlooking the garden, and admiring the curated fine art and furnishings throughout the inn all offer exceptionally special moments. (Day-use onsen is also available.) Whether as a base for sightseeing and business, or for special occasions such as anniversaries, family introductions, and private banquets, we cater to a wide variety of needs. Banquet halls and shuttle services can also be arranged upon request.
