Biei Town, located approximately halfway between Asahikawa City and Furano City, is an attractive town with gently undulating hills and a majestic, lush natural environment. It is easily accessible, approximately 15 minutes by car from Asahikawa Airport, and is one of Japan’s leading tourist destinations. It is also a member of the “Japan’s Most Beautiful Villages” association, and has been nurtured by the beautiful townscape of Biei Ekimae Street and the activities of nature and people. The scenery of the rolling hills is attractive. Shirogane Onsen, located at the foot of the mountain with a panoramic view of the Tokachidake Mountain Range, is also known as the “hot spring of rejuvenation” and is a place where you can easily enjoy the hot springs.
