Quietly nestled in the back alleys of Midorigaoka, Asahikawa City, “Back Alley Kitchen Gran Via” is a restaurant with two faces: Spanish cuisine and Western food eaten with chopsticks. The owner-chef, Mr. Nishiki, is a talented person who went to Spain to train and serves authentic Spanish cuisine. Reservations are required for 4 groups each for both lunch and dinner, and it is a cozy space where a wonderful couple will welcome you.

The most recommended is the “Squid Mipa Area”. The light taste gently spreads the flavor of squid and scallops and the deep richness of squid, and the refreshing acidity of lemon changes the taste. The rice is made from Nanatsuboshi from Nishi-Kagura, and its deliciousness has become so good that rice farmers in other regions have become it. The “Garlic Toast Gratin”, which is popular among women, is also exquisite, with an exquisite richness of milk and cheese.

This is a restaurant where you can forget about time and enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine, making you want to go there.
